Cows suffer at Dairy Farms

Not only do cows have to worry about being slaughtered for their meat, they now have to worry about being tortured for their milk. Cows are no longer being treated with care or love on the family farm. Cows are now seen as a product and are treated as nothing more. In today’s society it is all about money and quantity. Numerous unnecessary procedures such as “Tail-docking” are taking place in order for the cow to produce more milk, in a quicker manner. “Tail-docking” is the amputation of a cow’s tail, in an inhumane way. An elastic band is tied tight around the animal’s tail in order for it to fall off. This provides easier access to the utters. Milk is no longer a delicious drink to enjoy with your morning breakfast, as it is filled with tears and puss of innocent cows. To help these cows, simply lowering your daily intake of dairy products will have a huge impact. To learn more watch this video from PETA. (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)
